August Favourites!

Hi guys! So I know I haven’t posted in nearly a month, it’s really bad of me…But throughout the summer holidays I was given so much Art & Textiles homework, and if you don’t know, art and textiles are very time-consuming subjects. So basically I had to finish making my 50s/60s dress (which I may upload a picture of soon on here or on Instagram) and I also had to visit a museum to do some art sketches. ANYWAY enough of the rambling…I hope you guys have had a great summer! Sooo here are my August favourites:

(I didn’t have that many, although I did do a lot of make-up shopping…)

1. Soap & Glory Clear Here Moisturizer – (BOOTS) £9 – I really loved this product, and I used it a lot throughout August. During August it was quite hot and my T-zone area (my nose mainly) became quite oily and I got a few pimples on my nose due to the oil (nastay.) So I used this twice a day (1x in the morning and 1x before bed) and it instantly took away the oiliness and it did shrink down the size of my pimples. It also helped with my dry skin as well, because I do have dry skin on the sides of my nose, so this moisturizer defiantly helped for that!

2. Ecotools angeled eyeliner brush – (BOOTS) £5.49-& MUA’s single MATT eye shadow in shade 19 -(SUPERDRUG) £1- I discovered the MUA eyeshadow from watching a YouTuber and she said it was a perfect match for her eyebrows, and seeing as I had the same eyebrow colour as her, I decided to buy it, and it was such a good price! It’s a perfect match for my eyebrows, so I just fill in the sparse areas, and it does a great job – I use my ECO tools eyeliner brush, and it works perfectly well.

3. NYC Quattro Eye shadow 815 Best of Broadway -(SUPERDRUG) £2.99<I THINK- I used this nearly everyday during the month of August, and it has such pretty, neutral, natural shades which are great for everyday use. They are quite pigmented colours as well, so that’s a plus!

4. BOOTS tea tree witch hazel Blemish stick -(BOOTS) £2.50<I THINK- This is a really refreshing products, it has really helped with the few spots I got during the summer, and it shrunk them down, got rid of the redness and overall it was just really refreshing. I always go back to this product when I break out.

5. BOOTS Witch hazel gel -(BOOTS) £1.99- This product is exactly the same as the blemish stick, and thogether they work great and do miracles! (It’s a clear, soothing gel)

6. Maybelline Babylips ”Cherry Me” -(BOOTS) £2.99- I’m not lying one bit when I’m saying this, I used this EVERYDAY during August, it’s such a pretty tinted colour, it smells like heaven and it’s extremely moisturising and it does wonders for my lips!

7. The Body Shop Born Lippy ”Pomegranate” lip balm -£3- I used this quite bit during July/August, but not as much as my babylips. Again it s quite comparable to the babylips, because it’s just as moisturising! This lip balm is kind of a orangey-red tinted colour.

^It’s quite a sheer colour.

8. Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipstick in 240 ”Latino” I believe these are £6.49. This is a really pretty summery lipstick shade. It’s not a very frosty lipstick shade, but it has a bit of frost in it. It’s also very moisturising and conditioning for my lips.
